Article Submission Techniques 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello all.

I want to start a topic where we can share the experience and the benefits of article submission.

How many keywords to use? How long should the article be? What should be the density of the keywords/phrases in the content? What about the title? Where do you submit your work?

I guess, the most important thing about article marketing is the content itself. You have to make it interesting in order to get readers! Try to be original and maybe a bit funny. Even if your article doesn't give unique information, it might make people laugh.

As for keyword density, I would say 10% keyword density sounds about right. So, in an article with, let's say, 500 words, you should have your keywords mentioned at least 10 times.

Too much keywords is a mistake, because it makes the article unreadable and spammy.

So, here is the dilemma - too little keywords = search engines unhappy; too much keywords = customers unhappy!

Conclusion, write for both human and search engines!

Speaking of humans, "top 10" this and "5 Ways to..."that are the favorite! Use lists and bullets to emphasise your point. It is hard to read via computer, so make it as simple as possible. This also means, use very easy language - high school level. Don't try to be unique by inserting complicated words you have found in your Word dictionary!

Always include your website link at the end of the article or in the resource box. If your article was impressive enough, the reader will surely want to check your other work!

Do you guys submit articles yourself or hire some help? If so, what should you check when outsourcing this kind of a job?

I submit to only about 6-8 sites, so don't really see the need for submission software. You don't really want your articles submitted to crapy sites. I personally think that manual submission is the best - you are in total control where you article gets to. And it doesn't take that long when you have everything ready. Just copy paste and move on to the next daily task
