How important is email marketing anyway? Which services are proven to be the best?

I personally don't like email marketing, however I have to agree that email is definitely an effective tool to create conversions. After all, it has a personal touch.

However, there is a thin line between marketing and spamming. Since most of us consider email inbox as something personal and important, when any of us receive an unwanted email, we consder it a violation of privacy and, frankly, get angry.


If you decide to do email marketing, be very careful not to oversend and overadvertise. Be honest and write what people might really want to know.

A lot of affiliates I know say that email marketing is a true gold. I think I want to give it a try.

This is a painful topic for me. I still haven't gotten into email marketing. I believe that lately with the evolution of facebook and twitter (and other similar social networks) you don't really need email marketing. Who reads emails anyway these days?!

If you have a good email list, you should use it. Also you can offer newsletter service on your website so readers can sign up and you can send them your recommendations eg weekly.
